Villa Zoja

Residence of Counts Rabbia in the 17th century, the villa was passed on to the Cantoni (1838), successively to the Marquis Del Carretto, then to the Count Lodovico Melzi (1870) and eventually was sold to the Zoja brothers in 1895. The plan is L-shaped with the master block on the east side equipped with a 3-door architraved loggia, divided by 2 columns. The façade features a pseudo-baroque balcony and embossed windows. The interior is almost completely occupied by the showroom. From the portico there is a staircase to the first floor, leading to the rooms. On the outer side of the North wing there is an entrance courtyard that includes a service area and living rooms. It opens on the large garden, where there are several tall trees, including a two centuries old cedar tree.
