Villa Teruzzi

Built in 1739 on a land owned by Zanatti, it was sold to the Rovida family and from there it passed to G.B. Cesati until 1818, when it was sold as a holiday home to Count Raffaele Paravicini. The Villa, with U-shaped plan, has a central body and symmetrical service wings, which protrude outward, giving way to the front yard. The three-storey central block has an imposing façade, featuring vertical wall brackets and angular pilasters with flat ashlar. The main entrance is formed by a tripartite opening, which at the center culminates with an arch, resting on two trabeations supported by columns. After the entrance, the veranda atrium opens, at whose side there is a staircase, parallel to the central body of the palace. It takes its name from the Teruzzi family, who bought it in the twentieth century.
